Novant Health lifting some coronavirus visitor restrictions starting Monday

Novant Health announced Sunday it will lift some of the visitor restrictions placed to slow the spread of the coronavirus starting Monday.Click the video player above for the latest coronavirus information from WXII 12 News.New policies include:Patients in acute care facilities can have one visitor accompany them. Patients in critical care, obstetrics and inpatient surgery do not have a limit for visiting hours.In clinics, a visitor is allowed for patients older than 65 or if they are the guardian of someone younger than 18. Social distancing guidelines are still in place. All visitors must be 18 or older, must wear a mask, have a temperature assessment and fill out a screening questionnaire. WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. —

Novant Health announced Sunday it will lift some of the visitor restrictions placed to slow the spread of the coronavirus starting Monday.

New policies include:

  • Patients in acute care facilities can have one visitor accompany them.
  • Patients in critical care, obstetrics and inpatient surgery do not have a limit for visiting hours.
  • In clinics, a visitor is allowed for patients older than 65 or if they are the guardian of someone younger than 18.
