A New Jersey pet dog is searching for a new home after both of her owners, two siblings, passed away due to coronavirus.

Monmouth County SPCA shared photos of Che-Che on Facebook on April 13, saying that the nine-pound pup will receive some treatment before they discover her a new family.

‘ Unfortunately, Che-Che is the very first of numerous animals that we prepare for needing a safe haven in these uncertain times,’ the post read.

Frightening: She was ‘terrified and shaking when she arrived,’ they stated

‘ Che-Che concerned the Monmouth County SPCA this previous weekend when two members of her household passed away due to the infection,’ the post described.

She was ‘terrified and shaking when she showed up.’

Che-Che was brought into the shelter by members of her owners’ household, who were not able to provide her a house themselves after losing 2 family members, who left four dogs.

Dennis Traverso, 79, and his bro, James ‘Cricket’ Traverso, 73, died within one week of each other, both from issues from COVID-19

‘ These were tireless, self-made men that worked labor tasks their whole life,’ Dennis’ daughter Denise informed Good Early morning America.

‘ They’re heroes … they were not formally informed, but were 2 of the most intelligent men I know.’

Denise and her sibling were left not only with the grief of losing their beloved father and uncle, however likewise with the job of finding caring homes for the bros’ family pets, something that they weren’t able to do while also caring for their own households.

According to her late owner James’ niece Gina Mellish, Che-Che was abused prior to she was taken in by the brothers, and requires a calm and stable house without any kids or other family pets.

On Thursday, the company offered an update, stating hat Che-Che ‘has done a beautiful task of settling in with us.’
