(WOWT) — The Department of Health and Human Services has reported three COVID-19 related deaths Friday.
Sarpy/Cass counties reported their fist death being a man in his 80s. Dawson County reported its second death, she was a woman in her 60s who had underlying conditions, and Lincoln County also reported its second death, a woman in her 60s with underlying health conditions.
New cases in Dodge County
Three Rivers Public Health Department has reported 12 new cases of COVID-19. All cases are Dodge County residents.
The cases include five females between 20 and 40 years old and seven males between 20 and 50 years old.
State totals for Friday
According to the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, Nebraska as reached 4,838 statewide cases and 73 deaths as of 5:50 p.m.
According to this report, Douglas County has a total of 713 cases and 16 deaths. Hall County has reached 1,103, and Dakota County is at 714.
77 new cases in Douglas County
The Douglas County Health Department has confirmed 77 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
According to a release, that brings the total in the county to 686. The age range is from seven to 81.
70 more cases in Grand Island area
Central District Health Department reported 70 new cases of COVID-19 on Friday.
An additional case was reported in Merrick and Hamilton counties; the other 68 were confirmed in Hall County.
The health district has had 1,170 cases and 37 deaths to date, with 10 cases in Merrick County, 50 in Hamilton County, and 1,110 in Hall County as of Friday.

More cases reported in Lincoln
Lincoln has reported 39 more cases in the Lincoln-Lancaster area, according to their website Friday afternoon.
The community total is now at 281.
