Sacramento COVID-19 vaccine trial needs more participants
A clinical trial for a novel coronavirus vaccine got underway at UC Davis Health in Sacramento on Thursday.Pfizer picked Sacramento as one of 120 sites to be a part of the worldwide COVID-19 trial. The company aims to enroll about 30,000 participants from across the globe.Both UC Davis Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente are participating in the vaccine trial through a partnership with Pfizer.UC Davis said it needs more volunteers for the vaccine trial.
