IT’S BEEN NEARLY ten years since Stranger Things first debuted in July of 2016. It’s been nearly three-and-a-half years since the show’s fourth and most recent season debuted back in July of 2022. It’s not a hot take to say that if you’re still aboard the Stranger Things train, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve been aboard this ride for quite a long time. And now that the show’s fifth and final season has finally debuted on Netflix, how does it feel that you’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer to get some actual closure?
That’s right. While the first four episodes of Stranger Things‘s season 5 hit Netflix’s servers for all to binge on Thanksgiving Eve 2025 (November 26), this story is going to take a little more time to build hype, suspense, and excitement. Our crew—which includes Joyce, Hopper, Mike, Eleven, Will, Lucas, Dustin, Steve, Nancy, Jonathan, Robin, Erica, Murray, and many more—will see their story of monsters, horror, superpowers, and the upside down concluded. But it’s not going to happen all at once.
