Virologist Dr. Joseph Fair, an NBC News contributor, tells TODAY that President Trump’s plan to soon reopen parts of the country is unwise: “The moment we relax social distancing guidelines, that’s going to turn into a new peak” in the coronavirus outbreak curve. He says that it will take “two to six months” for the country to have enough testing for most people to go back to work. He predicts we’re going “to see a change in how we live our lives, post COVID-19,” adding “we are not going to have a vaccine by the end of the year, in my opinion.”
