Ventura County announced it will ease some of the remain at home restrictions and start the initial steps of resuming the county. The adjustments include permitting small events, opening parks up and gradually reopening non-essential services.

Powers likewise informed NBC4 the county will be carefully monitoring the rate of infections and if numbers begin to return up the county will have tighten up restrictions.
On Sunday, the city of Ventura clarified that although the county resumed parks on Saturday, the city of Ventura still had not opened them.
