WE JUST SPOKE WITH SOME PASSENGERS WHO HAVE LANDED ON A SOUTHWEST FLIGHT FROM CHICAGO. THEY SAY THEY WERE SPACED OUT WELL AND FELT PRETTY SAFE.>> JOSE FLEW IN FROM MINNEAPOLIS ON DELTA. JULIE AND MARK ACKMAN FLEW IN FROM ORLANDO ON SOUTHWEST. THEY REPORT SAFE DISTANCING ON THEIR FLIGHTS.>> IT WAS VERY SAFE. THEY KEPT EVERYONE SPREAD APART, SIX FOOT.>> THEY LOADED THE BACK END BEFORE THE FRONT END. THEY HAD IT GOING ON, .>> THERE WERE ONLY 23 PEOPLE ON THE WHOLE JET, SO EVERYBODY JUST KIND OF SPREAD THEMSELVES OUT.>> PLENTY OF ROOM FOR THE CREW, EVERYBODY WITH THEUIR MASKS ON,>> ALL OF THE MAJOR CARRIERS FLYING OUT OF PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL SAY THEY’VE TIGHTENED UP THEIR COVID-19 TRAVEL POLICIES SINCE MAY FIRS>> UNITED AIRLINES RELEASED THIS VIDEO OF CREWS DISINFECTING THEIR AIRCRAFT ACCORDING TO THEIR COVID-19 CLEANING STANDARDS.>> HERE’S WHAT THE MAJOR CARRIERS ARE PROMISING TO PASSENGERS.>> AMERICAN SAYS IS LIMITING THE NUMBER OF PASSENGERS ON EACH FLIGHT AND WILL NOT BOOK MORE>> DELTA SAYS ALL MIDDLE SEATS ARE BLOCKED ON THEIR FLIGHTS. AND THEY’RE BLOCKING SELECTED AISLE AND WINDOW SEATS. SOUTHWEST SAYS ONE-THIRD OF ITS SEATS ARE ELIMINATED FROM BOOKING BUT THEY’RE NOT BLOCKING MIDDLE SEATS.>> UNITED SEEMS MOST VAG AMONG THE CARRIERS, SAYING THEY’RE ADJUSTING SEATING TO AVOID CLOSE SPACING. BUT THEY AREN’T MAKING ANY GURANTEES THAT WILL HAPPEN.>> ROLLING LUGGAGE. Pittsburgh International Airport to require all employees, passengers and visitors to wear face coverings on airport property
Pittsburgh International Airport announced Friday that beginning May 18, all employees, passengers and visitors will be required to wear face coverings on airport property. In a post on Facebook, the airport said it is committed to enhancing the health and safety of passengers and staff in their facilities. Following CDC guidelines, exceptions to this rule are children under the age of 2 and those who are unable to wear a mask because of a medical condition.

Pittsburgh International Airport announced Friday that beginning May 18, all employees, passengers and visitors will be required to wear face coverings on airport property.
