Hanesbrand confirms 15 cases of COVID-19 at Rural Hall warehouse
A total of 15 employees have tested positive at Hanesbrands in Rural Hall, the company said. In statement sent to WXII 12 News, the company said that it arranged testing in response to the confirmed COVID-19 cases last week. Of 164 employees tested, 15 employees tested positive, the company said. Only two of those 15 showed symptoms, the statement said. “Of the 15 COVID-19 positive employees, 10 were already in quarantine based on the first positive case,” Matt Hall, a spokesperson for Hanesbrands said. “We have begun contact tracing on the other five and have suspended operations for all employees of this shift.”This rate of positive results is consistent with the overall Forsyth County rate for test results, the company said.
