COVID-19 cases in SC rise above 10,000 as DHEC reports 10 more deaths
South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control officials reported 209 new cases of COVID-19, and 10 additional deaths Sunday.A total of 10,096 cases of the novel coronavirus have been reported in South Carolina.435 people have died.Of the 10 new deaths reported, three were individuals in Greenville County, and one in Spartanburg county.89 new cases were reported in the Upstate. The new cases broken down by county are: Anderson (1), Cherokee (2), Greenville (54), Laurens (1), Oconee (4), Pickens (6), Spartanburg (21).DHEC reports a total of 168,908 tests have been conducted in the state.
