AUSTIN, Texas– Regional authorities in Austin are beginning to talk about how the city will get back to typical– how it was before COVID-19– but said residents should get ready for it to take weeks or longer.
They likewise said they are not yet prepared to offer particular information for how the process to start reopening will be put in location.
Travis County Judge Sarah Eckhardt said on Friday officials are putting together a local plan that will involve a task force with members of the neighborhood and the Austin Chamber of Commerce.
She said authorities will release more information about that plan next week.
