DETROIT, Mich.– A 5-year-old woman in Detroit passed away from the coronavirus on Sunday after developing a rare form of meningitis and brain swelling, Detroit News reports
Skylar Herbert was first identified with the coronavirus last month. Her moms and dads initially took her to the pediatrician, and she was identified with strep throat and sent house with medications. Skylar had a terrible headache that wouldn’t go away, so her household took her to the emergency room. That’s when she evaluated positive for the coronavirus.
She was launched from the hospital, however their family returned a short time later after Skylar’s daddy began showing signs of the coronavirus. Both of her parents are first responders– her papa is a firemen, and her mommy is a law enforcement officer.
While Skylar was waiting with her mama in the vehicle, she had a seizure.
